BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR – Leading Software Company – Arabic Nationals Only Our client is a leading Jordanian software company that delivers award winning solutions and services. They provide custom software development, ready-made products, and consultancy and outsourcing services We are looking for a Business Development Director to work with their growing team based in Jordan OVERVIEW OF ROLE The Business Development Director is responsible for identifying, qualifying and securing business opportunities by maintaining strong business relationships with existing clients and finding potential clients in trade shows, conferences, industry exhibits and other meetings. The successful candidate will obtain requirements of clients and will use this information to create business development strategies customized to the customer KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Financial • Responsible for achieving company’s financial revenue targets Customer • Create evaluation parameters needed in gauging client satisfaction of a company’s products or services • Continuously work on increasing customer satisfaction Internal Process • Create new businesses and customers on a continuous basis • Maintain existing business relationships through continuous client follow up, responding to client inquiries and resolving problems on their behalf • Responsible for marketing intelligence activities • Identify market opportunities • Actively research potential clients and pursue new business relationships • Create proposals with recommendations based on market demands • Track media effectiveness and develop models to determine project paybacks • Develop campaigns to help builda company’s profile or its brand image • Understand the products, services and requirements of the company • Study customer base of products or services • Recommend programs to the business development team • Assess the business opportunity through a prospect evaluation process and determine whether it is something to pursue and the urgency required • Manage SalesForce or other CRM data entry • Ensure that the CEO is kept updated with all aspects of Business Development and future prospects • Support business plan development • Work with the Product Design team and various other teams to ensure needs are scoped, designed & delivered • Obtain client requirements and prepare business development strategies tailored to the targeted customer • Prepare presentations and regularly present at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows and conferences • Plan and coordinate business generation activities, such as responding to client requests for proposals (RFP) Learning and Growth • Refine existing and develop new business development processes to improve efficiency and scale of the business development team • Create an environment for the business development team that fosters challenge and target achievements • Display thorough leadership and evaluate in house and external services • Train and guide subordinate and grow their knowledge and skills • Share all types of knowledge with different team members COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Salary package will reflect experience levels and will depend on the candidate • As a guide only: 40-45k SAR per month total package ($125-145k USD per annum) • This will include a benefits package – Basic + Housing allowance + Mobile allowance + Transportation allowance (depending on experience) • Extra benefits: Insurance covered based on the internal policy, tickets (once a year), commission based on the internal policy • Tax free salary Job Details Date Posted: 2011-11-28 Job Location: Amman, Jordan Job Role: Management Company Industry: Business Support; Information Technology; Support Services Preferred Candidate Career Level: Management Gender: Male Nationality: United Arab Emirates; Bahrain; Djibouti; Algeria; Egypt; Iraq; Jordan; Comoros; Kuwait; Lebanon; Libya; Morocco; Mauritania; Oman; Palestine; Qatar; Saudi Arabia; Sudan; Somalia; Syria; Tunisia; Yemen Apply Now – Jobs in Jordan – Management Jobs in Jordan – Search All Jobs
